What`s the point with 10c CD shopping?
I wonder how the CD packaging looks like when you buy BS in Target or so. what is the difference to 10c CD version? I just received mine and I do not find anything special in it just that I paid just for the delivery half of the CD price itself and received it today only. the difference to buy it in music store over here would be that I would pay less for the CD (no shipping costs) and I would have it like a week ago already.
or , is there anything special that supposed to be in 10c version that I might not get?

The 10c package includes a hard-bound booklet for the lyrics, etc. I like to think that makes it unique. Also, for me (in the US), getting it the Friday before the release date was a big deal. I can understand your frustration, but to me it was definitely worth the cost of shipping to get it from 10C.I smile, but who am I kidding...0

really?
i though the hardbound book-style was exclusive to 10c and indie stores?
shit, that is what 10c wrote on the site!
edit:
PEARL JAM BACKSPACER CD TEN CLUB/INDIE PACKAGE. HARD-BOUND BOOK STYLE JACKET ALA THE AVOCADO PACKAGE. STREET DATE 9/20.
hmmmmmm....guess *I* put the idea of it being 'exclusive' in there myself. hahahahaha. sad. so i could've saved myself a few bucks and bought it at target. c'est la vie. glad i at least ordered in just in time to still get free shipping. i thought it was 'special' packaging, thus why i went for the 10c version. getting it 2 days early is really not important to me.Post edited by decides2dream onStay with me...

i went to target on saturday and looked at the display, but didn't actually pick up a CD to look at it carefully, so i can't swear one way or another...but i did think it looked different.Lizard wrote:BRAINFART for me. SORRY.

I did see it at target in LA. They are way different.
The target package does not inlude the booklet like the 10c. It must be inside somewhere, i don't know for sure. Also the target version is designed like the LP version. You know, the brain drawing is in a sleeve inside, and not on the actual cover. While the 10c version the brain is printed on the cover. The 10c version is better regarding the quality of the cover. You know it's like a book.
The target version you get some downloads for free.
Only if you live in the US, it's cool to order the album in tenclub because you were supposed to get it delivered before the release date, plus people that ordered it before sept got free shipping, so that was good for them.IN THE DARK, ALL CATS ARE BLACK.0
