Woot!
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
Butthead: Huh huh.

I'm curious to see what a "burn-to-order CD" is going to be like. Either way I'm going this route... because I don't like downloaded music... give me something physical to keep.

Now... the question is: Which shows should I purchase? I won't be at any of them... but hearing some new live stuff does sound appealing.

Uh... it's a no brainer if you've got a secure job... or a job at all... I'm about to wrap college up here... summer classes and then student teaching... So, it's not feasible to purchase them all... just the "gems" as they say... but maybe I can get by if I purchase them all... dang it... Either way this is great news!

So... Are the shows going to stay up for a while to be purchased or are they going to come and go rather quickly? ... All these questions.

Same here except I just finished college. I feel a lot of people forget that there are others out there who aren't in the most secure financial situation at the moment.

  • I hope the physical CD's will be silver-bottoms and not CDR's. I also hope they don't have sector boundary errors like the Europe/Pacific Rim 2006 boots did.

Frankly, with music moving further into the digital realm, I think it's wasteful to go back to physical boots. I know I'm in the minority, but I think this was a mistake.

Maybe they figure people will like the free song and get hooked into buying a whole show later on.

There's nothing wrong with options man!! I bought all the physical boots pre-download era (05) and nothing since.. They are respecting us old schoolers (cds) just as they respect us vinyl lovers also. Cheers to options.. Keep an open mind brother.

Whoever created the FLAC's for the European leg did not align the sector boundaries properly, so there are clicks and gaps between the songs. This is typical for MP3's, but it shouldn't be an issue with FLAC's, which are supposed to flow straight through like a CD. The US legs were fine, so it was the fault of whomever Basecamp put in charge of making the European FLAC's. I'm just hoping that the physical CD's are properly mastered and don't have those kinds of problems. I've seen it happen before, with the Pixies DiscLive CD's...clicks and gaps galore. Luckily, they fired those guys and got a new, much more competent company to make their boots. Hopefully, Pearl Jam won't make the same mistakes.

Me too! They sure covered all the bases. :) Love it. The only clarification I'd like is if you can buy all the physical cd's and have them shipped at once to save on shipping charges. Anyone see this answered yet?
