    Have to agree with nothingman, love whippin out touring band 2000 and turning it up and soaking up that song, quite uplifting :)

    haha that reminds me - the other night i was out a a club and this guy was setting up to do a solo performance with his guitar and went off to get something whilst he left a cd playing and the mike unattended. guess what came on? i was inspired (both by hearing this again in public, and by a lil bit o alcohol) and found myself moving toward the microphone. i busted out the whole song to a little crowd of about 20 and got some hearty applause from the 30-somethings sitting right by who were appreciating the PJ outburst as well. great spontaneous moment! the performing dude was lovely and waited til i finished the song too which was great form.
    i still like the cd version better though ;)

    Weird! I read the thread title and immediately, Nothingman popped into my mind.

    Then I read through the posts so far and quite a few say the same.

    Nothingman is definitely way way up there if not the nicest sounding studio song.

    I think The Fixer is their nicest song.

    All about helping out and fixing things. So nice.
