Not what I thought it was going to be. it was even BETTER. Wouldve been cool if mike and ben traded off solos but i thought it was pretty sweet what ben was doing. He should join PJ onstage more often!

    and yeah , i was way stokedd on Red Mosquito , one of my favorite tunes. I've seen Ben sing Indifference with them many times, so I was really glad they did something different!!!

    All of your uploads from Portland are amazing! I hate to be that guy who asks, but...are you planning on putting a dvd together, or even putting it out on audio?

    Do we know what kind of camera that was recorded with. The quality is excellent. Thinking about getting a flip HD recorder and was curious if that is the quality I should expect. Awesome videos.

    I get frames skipping on the high quality vids. It's probly cuz ur graphics card isn't that good.

    Thanks! I've been getting a lot of requests so I will try to put a DVD together , i got 17 separate videos from the show... ;) I will keep you posted!

    Yeah! my camera is a Samsung HZ15W - its a digital point and shoot (tho a relatively large one) , but totally worth it - takes HD 1280p Video , 10x Optical zoom while recording , 12 MP , manual control of shutter / aperture / etc. i LOVE it!!!

    I don't get all the hate for Ben Harper.

    I have said it before and will again the man is AMAZING.

    A Ben Harper show/opening is MUCH MUCH MUCH more enjoyable that the SHIT bands like Social Distortion, Ted Leo, and Bad Religion.

    The only cool thing about Social Distortion opening on 10/27 is I can take a nap at the hotel before PJ comes on.

    Ben Harper > than any other band that has opened for PJ in the past 10 years.

    My Morning Jacket and Death Cab are probably number 2 & 3 opening bands.

    My words may have been a bit harsh, those mentioned bands don't suck but what they lack from what I have heard is variety.

    That's what I love most about PJ, they can put out a hard rocker as well as slower songs. This holds true for Ben Harper--who can play just about any genre of music he wishes.

    Those who make the statement that Ben should keep his mouth shut are wrong.

    I side with EV on this debate, Ben is a true talent.
