Jeremy, Daughter, Even Flow, all the recognizeable stuff and leave us w/ less from backspacer or the more obscure stuff they've been pullin out lately? Just saw the AWESOME set list from Portland. I'm guessin they won't touch that at a festival, but hopin they prove me wrong! I get to see them live regardless.... 8-)

  • They will most likely play Even Flow...

I like Jeremy and really wanted to hear it in Seattle... It's a rarity for me... Last time I head it was Milwaukee '06 methinks...

Daughter... I haven't gotten sick of that song yet.. After hearing it almost every show I've been to for the past few years... I like when they extend it too.... Lollapalooza '07 was the best I've seen it!
A child's rhyme stuck in my head...
It said "Life is nothing but a dream."
I've spent so many years in question
To find I'd known this all along.
  • im concerned it will be festival friendly. but after 6 years, i am happy to have them in texas.
    I miss you hippiemom.

I don't dislike these songs, but I've heard them live many times...I would die to see a show like Portland. Songs I've rarely or NEVER heard live before.
  • Of course they will. It is a festival after all, and a GREAT way to get new fans, especially with a new album JUST out. I am thinking they will play several from Backspacer along with casual crowd favorites.

More new fans makes for a successful band, and more shows on down the road for us. :D

  • I was gonna say. Go listen to Bonnaroo from last summer. Maybe the best, most eclectic show of the entire tour.

well its not going to be a "no even flow show" but there will be plenty of new stuff and enough rarity's to keep some of the die hard's happy and enough well known stuff for the common people

Go expecting the most overplayed hits show you can imagine.

If you take that mindset I guarantee PJ will blow your mind with a surprisingly good setlist.

    That's probably good advice.

I remember everybody saying the shows in '06 with Tom Petty were going to be "greatest hits shows." Then, they played Bee Girl in Denver.

I am hoping since it's been so long since they've played TX, they'll throw in some nice rarities. If not, who cares - it's PJ at ACL!

Here's hoping for one of these (for me at least): Smile, Red Mosquito, Long Road, No Way, Breathe, and / or W.M.A.

They did that at Lollapalooza, and it fucking kicked ass. I'm sure they'll work BS in plenty though.

Looks like the highs could be (knock on wood) in the low 80's for ACL weekend. That would be amazing

I am just excited to be actually there. I dont care what they play. They could belch Bugs for 2 solid hours and I would not give a shit. My only concern is saving energy and resting up. 3 days of music takes alot of energy.

  • it probably won't quite match the Bonnaroo show because they didnt have an album to promote for that one. but it will still be a mix. pretty much like all their shows.

I'm really hoping they play ALOT of the new album but like others have said, it's been 6 years since they've been here and I'm just fucking thrilled to get to see them again!!!

  • Glad to have Pearl Jam back in Texas, hope to hear a lot of the new album and some rare ones. During the encore I am personally hoping Eddie does some Neil Young covers and since Ben Harper and the Relentless Seven are performing earlier that day, we may hear Indifference with Eddie and Ben on vocals! Other favorite artist friends of Eddie Vedder's will be performing: Daniel Johnston and the Kings of Leon on 10/2. Will we see appearances by Eddie?? Getting excited, cannot wait!!!!
