If you were there, you know.It doesn't translate onto the DVD as well, but live,it was another story, especially for Alive!
You have seen them 87 times.

    what the fuck.

That's nothing. You need to meet Amy (known as "Wash Girl").She celebrated her 300th pearl jam show in chicago.I saw her at both seattle show's also. And i'm sure she's probably doing most of the upcoming show's.
Pittsburgh 2000 show explains the wash girl story,i believe. It's on the boot.

OMG you are SO RIGHT about that show!! I have never seen another crowd rival that one for Alive!!! That crowd was AMAZING!!

of my 23 shows, my most definite #1 PJ concert moment of all time was Alive in the garden in 2003. the entire arena... the most intense fist pump i have witnessed.

You are absolutely right about that! It's my number 1 concert moment of all time, for any band!
I was literally crying when it was over.It was so intense. ;)

    RM was bad ass.

Talked about not coming back to the NW for a while.

    SoS View: PJ.jpg

I really like the sequence of songs for this entire show. You can really imagine the energy for the encores. Red Mosquito w/BH followed by Inside Job (my fav song off Avocado) then Go to get the ppl riled up for DTE then Not For You (don't really see those 2 songs in a row in that order) then Black to get everyone feeling good followed by Porch to take the roof off and jam w/YL

the set looked sweet when every other song in the beginning (non-BS) is Laxt Exit, In Hiding, Green Disease, Even Flow, Off He Goes, Present Tense, Once in consecutive order - the energy must have been unreal

PJ is def in a good groove right now and i can tell and i wasnt even at these shows - Ed is def experimenting with new orders of songs by night with the amazing BS material thrown in in between. I can't wait for Philly. Vancouver and Portland def seem like boots i'd buy regardless of being at the shows.

I'm going back here and reading what you guys are saying and this comment really stands out. I tell you, last night was like nothing I've ever experienced before. If was a fucking religious experience to be there.

    This is hilarious.
