Yap! I think it was Among the Waves while cutting away for commercial break during the Cal SPANKING! And that was commercial ABC/NBC or something.... with ESPN affiliation.

On a somewhat related thread that I hadn't mentioned -- at the 9/11 Giants vs Dodgers game at AT&T Park, they did a tribute of course during pre-game, moment of silence, then into Star Spangled Banner, then the awesome F-18 Fly Over ... and then over the PA comes .... ALIVE!

They just played the opening riff, not even the first verse or chorus -- but man, it was awesome all together!
    [sic] happens

Not only that, Neil Everett has incorporated some lyrics into his highlights. For example, I've heard him say "I got some if you need it" to describe someone hitting a home run. Kind of lame, IMO.
"I'll end up alone like I began..."

"You need the patience of like a National Geographic photographer sitting underneath the bush in a tent, trying to get a picture of zebras fucking or something for the first time." -Eddie Vedder

Talking about Jeter, Everett said "He be havin' lot's of women". That was weird. ;)
