It's on the background for the local football show on ch. 6 in Philly...
The Fixer is such a perfect pop song for Fixin what is broken..hope it fixes the oakland
raiders and keeps Penn State rolling tonight...

    i was just watching irish boxing and severed hand is the theme tune for the coverage, i know not a backspacer song, but it was cool to see none the less

    It was played in the background on Australia's "Funniest Home Videos" last night. Not a sporting show, but it - The Fixer that is - seems to be a commercial success.

    it's a great comeback song, be it for the yankees to come back and win another WS after 9 years or for them to come back in the bottom of the ninth walk off style as they've done 14 times this year

    Yeah I saw that as I was waiting for the footy to start, then less than 2 mins later it was on the introduction to the NRL game.

    Still, it was cool to see Pearl Jam giving out permission for use of their new music - especially to the New York Rangers ,

    has pj made a deal with espn or something. my god i never seen a album be promoted like backspacer has on espn. they have played the hell outta it.

    Same deal Dave Matthews Band has, and the same deal AC/DC had last year - just one more way to promote the album.
    And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.

    Caught Gonna See My Friend at the first commercial break of the Purdue/Notre Dame game on Saturday night on ESPN. I'm certainly enjoying the cross promotion. Nothing like Pearl Jam and football to make a tasty combo.
