I've loved Pearl Jam for so long and I'm sad that I hadn't gone before the Outside Lands concert. After what I witnessed in San Francisco, I am shocked that I've waited this long to see a concert as brilliant as this one was, and that was just a festival!!! Tears were streaming when the whole crowd participated in "black." The truth is, I've only been to horribly imbarrasing concerts... 3 to be exact. (You don't wanna know what ones.)
How great is October 7th in L.A. and October 9th in San Diego going to be????.... Well... for me, I already know it will be an experience i'll never forget. The love of music (((PJ touches lives))), the one I love holding my hand beside me (((both of us will be glancing at each other when a favorite song comes on with excitement))), and a shared bond in a room of people belting out every word (((which is more like a heartfelt experience, rather than just a concert.)))
After the 7th we road trip it to San Diego for the show on the 9th which I anticipate to be the best!!!! I can't wait to have the time of my life!!!! I hope to come back to san jose with laughs, tears, and memories shared. Pearl Jam has touched my life- Thanks PJ!!!
In loving memory of my boyfriends mom who now dances in the heavens... for her I pray to hear "Long Road."

Norm, I was just going to post the same thing. I am getting NO work done at all today. Ready to go to Karl Strauss (Straus?) and start drinking. Actually I want to go pick up my 10C tix at 3 to see where they are.
Looking at touringfan.net - it seems there is a strikingly low number of 10C seats sold for each show, so while "every seat is a good seat at the Gibson" - I think those of us who have 10C seats are going to be in for a treat. I'll be there for LA 2. Enjoy all!
I PUMPED for these LA shows and I'm just sitting at home in Nashville, TN!
Listening to a live version of the song and the relayer relays it.. Great way to pass the time til 4 shows in Philly.
Looking forward to the setlist tonight!

there is not a fundraiser, but a few people are meeting up at Karl Strauss before each show

I suggest you step out on your Porch.
Run away my son. See it all. Oh, See the World!
I'm calling Release as an opener. Just have a hunch.

i like your name and your picture, but i have no idea what the hell you are talking about.

My gut is telling me "Gonna See My Friend". Dunno, I think they'll hit LA night one with something both new and uptempo.
WAY ready for SD though. '06 in San Diego was unreal.
That's a good guess for opener, could totally see that.
