Hello everyone.

I just joined the 10C like 5 minutes ago.

I was wondering how do I know what my number is? If anyone can tell me it would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you.

Thank you. Officially a member of the fan club of the greatest band.

I hope I don't get bad seats for shows. Does it look like it?

  • Man, at this point, I'd do anything for a # under 200,000.

depends. if you go to a city like NY or Chicago, etc where there are huge 10c followings, probably you'll be disappointed with your seats. where do you live? i live in Columbus, and cities like that tend to have far fewer 10c members, so you'll usually get really good seats. as a fairly new member in 2000 (joined originally in 98), I got 3rd row in Cincinnati.

Thanks. I live in Waterbury, CT, so I'll go to a show in Hartford. Last year was my first PJ show and first concert ever in Hartford and it was awesome. Does it seem like I would get good seats?

not sure. good first show though, i selected that as one of my 2 freebies from Backspacer. really, it's impossible to predict with any accuracy where your seats would be for any given show. do you know about the lottery for 1st and 2nd and 9th and 10th row tickets? anybody can win those randomly regardless of seniority.

probably not honestly. lot of 10c concentration in the northeast and hartford shows usually get a lot of 10clubbers from boston and new york....and even a bunch in the philly area. my # is 207xxx and i got maybe 15 row at hartford 06 and pretty weaksauce seats last year.

    define "bad".

My number is 400,xxx and the first night of Seattle we were in the 200 level on the side row 14. I had low expectations and was totally thrilled. When I walked away from the ticket booth I'm sure people thought I'd won the lottery I was that excited with my seats. I thought we'd be either nosebleeds or waaaaay in the back on the floor. I feel if your expectations aren't that high, you won't be too bummed.

Thanks. It was great. All you're missing from that show is a killer version of "Fuckin' Up". I haven't heard about the lottery. How does the lottery go?

As in "bad", I mean where it's kind of tough to see the band in a row and having the nosebleed seats. I just want at least one concert to be like 1st row right on Mike's side. He's the reason I started learning guitar. Also, what are nosebleed seats? Total nube on this.

like others have said, the seats really depend on what city you're seeing them in. My # is 176XXX and I sat front row at the 2000 Lubbock TX show.

this is why i want them to tour the south. i wanna spend 2-3 days in a random ass city, taking in all of its idiosyncracies and then spend one night sitting in the first two rows at a pearl jam concert in said city.

  • Yeah, first row isn't looking too promising. I gotta be honest. The lottery is going to be your best hope. Don't feel badly though, that's pretty much my only hope as well. It is what it is. At least your in and the next guy that signs up here has less senority than you do. Know what I mean?

The lottery...they randomly choose fans (not by senority) and they get the 1st 2nd 9th and 10th rows. You won't know until you get your tickets the day of the show.

(Nosebleeds = sitting in the rafters. The highest place in the arena or furthest away from the stage.)

Thanks. I don't feel bad at all, but I do understand about the seniority.

Nosebleeds...At the Dodge in Hartford, it might be the last row of seats before the walkway and then the lawn. The XL Center and Mohegan would be bad to get.
