My brother is dying

And now I will always associate Backspacer with this time in my life. But that's okay. I love hearing "speed of sound" and "unthought known". they are both relevant to the situation. and I can cry.

    Waiting for the sun

    My brother died yesterday at 12:15. He was 59. Allan loved life and lived it his way. I will miss his laugh, his joie de vivre, and so many other things big and small.

    I am exceedingly grateful for Pearl Jam's music right now.

    I am so so sad to read of the untimely passing of your brother.Please take all the strength from your family and friends at this very difficult time.
    Of course music will help and you will gain a lot of support here on the board.My dad died recently and I have been humbled and reassured by the humanity shown by many wondeful people here.I am sure you will find this the case also.
