Target Tshirt defect?

I excitedly arrived at home to try on my Backspacer T and realized that the screenprint was completely sideways as well as the stiching along the sides. Talk about peeing in my cornflakes. Even worse I took it back to exchange and the two others they had left in my size were they exact same way. Did anyone else experience this? Anyone know who to take this matter up with besides my local Target?

  • You can't expect 100% of those shirts to be 100% perfect, especially in THIS economy.
  • Where were the shirts made?

if it really is a defect you have a collector's item on your hands (maybe).

Nah its not man my wife's in size small looked perfect. The white stitching that go down the sides of mine wrap around to the front of the shirt. If its supposed to be that way then I'll personally fly Heidi Klum out there to say Auf Wiedersehen to that designer. You can tell the front half wasnt laid correctly in production for stitching. I dropped 20 dollars on a defect would you be happy with that?

on mine, the stitching on the sleeves is completely fucked. And the cuff on the sleeves isn't even sewn properly, the fabric is creased and the sleeves aren't even.

A lot of them seem to be like this. The store I went to, every shirt in every size was like that but I don't think it was on purpose. It's something you see with sloppy workmanship.

You see other t-shirts like that sometimes but this is more obvious because of the white stitching on black. It's because the fabric was cut off the grain. It looks fine until the shirt is washed, then it hangs crooked.

Maybe it isn't a big deal to the people who made these things but it's annoying to me. I've decided to take mine back.

  • Mine was the exact same way. I took it back to exchange it for another one but they were out of my size so I just returned it. Maybe you bought the one I returned?

I don't have a shirt, but does it mention on the tag where it was made?

Thank you, glad I'm not the only one who felt this way about this tee. I mean I have liked several of the shirts that they've put out, but just because its 1) Pearl Jam, and 2) limited edition, doesnt mean we've gotta love it. I mean big props for the charity fundraiser aspect, but I really wasn't feeling this shirt, hence the reason I didnt waste my time rushing out to my local Target to find one. All set, thanks, will pick up a tee at the preseason consensus best show of the tour (i.e., Philly 4). ;)
