    :nuh_uh: Have you heard of something called hardware preservation? Seriously, obsolete hardware (and firmware and software) are really important not only to digital preservationists, but also the humanity as a whole. Maintaining old PC towers and CRTs, for example, in a functional state is one of the main ways to preserve our digital heritage for current and future generations. So could you please find a way to donate your old computers to a computer museum (if there's any nearby) or a memory institution (library, university or digital repository)? I hope that makes you reconsider it before you throw them in the recycling bin. :smile:

    Once a week for the last few months, there's been a youngish fellow and I've assumed his therapist of some sort tossing a ball back & forth in my work's parking lot...a bit odd but not a big deal as it's pretty empty at this hour.

    My office overlooks the area, and while watching at the window just now, realized this man has Parkinson's. Has a great attitude too, as does the therapist.

    In the midst of such fuckupness in life and this world lately, really nice to witness unadulterated purity.

    No sham, no facade, just being.
