    1. Thinking about friend zones and wedding dates... I am very clearly in the friend zone, so would that make it even weirder if I asked her to be my date to my friend's wedding? I just want to have someone there that I know (other than the groom and 1 coworker) and can dance with...

    2. Booked my flight and Hotel for Fenway 2! :smiley:

    Frankie, is the issue that you would rather not be in the friend zone (sorry to get personal here)? Otherwise, having a friend goes as your +1 is a good idea. Takes the pressure off the whole "date" thing. You guys go, hang out, and enjoy the wedding. Just be clear when you ask her that you are going as friends--you are not expecting anything more.

    And Yay! for getting your travel plans in order.

    No, I was the one that brought it up, you can ask anything but i may not answer everything.. I think the fact that I am calling it "the friend zone" rather than "a friendship" in my mind implies that I want something more even if I don't think that intentionally, now that I think about it.. Does that make sense? The fact remains that we don't have very much in common besides both being single, but I'm definitely attracted to her intelligence.

    So we met through a certain group of friends, and she is very adamant about not dating anyone from that group. It's her "rule" and she just went through this long story about this other guy.. I'm probably (read: definitely) over thinking this and should just talk to her about it :fp:

    Yesterday, my levels of stress at work were such that I was worried that I shouldn't have a 4-day weekend for July 4th because I have so much to do.
    Today, my levels of stress at work are such that I am so ready for that 4 day weekend because of the amount of stuff I need to do.
