    Unpleasantly surprised to hear there were 60 murders in Ireland (the Republic) in the 12 months up to the end of June this year. A decrease from 93 for the same time period in the previous year but still far far more than I realised...

    that's less murders than in Baltimore (the biggest city close to me) in just 1 month....

    We have a week of rain on the way and maybe a tropical storm in New England this weekend so this is a good time to re organize a lot of stuff that has gotten away from me.

    That would have made Ireland the country with pretty much the lowest murder rate in the entire world.
