    Termites and $1000. Apparently there is no such thing as a minor termite problem. Just saw a few. Been here 12 years and no problems before. I wonder if trimming and removing trees and digging up our yard to build the addition on our house last fall had anything to do with it. Grrrr

    I'm sorry. If you ever sell, now you have to disclose the termite issue. :(

    I used to work in an old general store building that was built in 1820. The owner did as little upkeep as possible. I was swarmed by termites one day. They were crawling thick up all of the wooden posts, flying all over, in all of the art and worst of all-- in my hair! (Curly and long.) I locked up, left the store and went to our other gallery next door and cried. They pulled the rest of the termites out of my hair. Against his better judgement, the building owner had the termites baited and we no longer had a swarm in the spring. It was just nasty.

    Just got an email from Vivid Seats, a ticket scal...ahem...reseller site saying they had specially selected events just for you.. These three events were Barry Manilow, Neil Diamond, and Bette Middler.

    WTF??!! Someone's ad targeting algorithm is way off base.

    All I wanted was a baggie of fresh hot mini donuts...ever see the guy with the little donut maker, and it makes and fries the donuts right in front of you? Yeah, I always get them when we go to a game, and the guy is usually open after the game to serve the drunks. He's one of the food trucks outside the park.
    Game ends early (seriously...a 2 hour baseball game?!?) My friend and I walk all the way around the stadium to get fucking donuts (because they are better than the cold elephant ears they sell inside the stadium), and the guy is closed....

    We had to walk back around again to go back to the bar...I still want donuts.

    Thanks gang it went well. The actual pre-interview gitters are the worst for me but once inside I settled down and had a great conversation.

    Depends on the suit in question. Is it a physical suit?? Or monetary? And further more.. Is it a well founded suit, as in grudge suit vs rectifiable matter suit..

    I feel your pain about when you don't get the stadium food you want! Every time my mom and I would go to Yankee Stadium or Shea/Citi Field, our tradition is to get a delicious knish. It's just not a baseball game without one for us! And now where I moved--no stadium knishes. This is madness! Gonna have to start a petition.

    Also--fresh hot mini donuts hmmm--now I want some! I used to get some of those in DC during holiday season!

    Well founded for sure. We had renos done and have had to hire other trades to come in and finish/ fix what was already done. He won't return emails/phone calls.

    Mmmmm - mini donuts. Here we can only get them at fairs, so while in general I hate fairs I sometimes go just for the mini donuts.
