My Mind? It's quite foggy inside
but it can't stay that way forever.
Just patiently waiting for it to lift.

Compromises, discussions, money, money, money - waaaaah! But I'm optimistic. Everything will turn out great and in a couple of months we will be as happy as you are right now :D

Why is it when you pass the age of 30 you have to watch what you eat and drink?
    Really bugs me.

I am soooo pssed off and discusted.
Someone at my work chanced a document I made to make a small not mentionable mistake I made into a big fault.
She mailed me pointing out the mistake. I taked her for it and wanted to understand what went wrong so I studied what I did.
I even showed it to another co worker so she could explain to me what I did wrong, because other than writing a date the wrong way around I couldn't find anything wrong.
I mailed her back saying we couldn't really find a fault other than the date.
Last night she pulled out the paper that supposed was mine, it had alot of mistakes and faults on it. Only thing is since I had studied the documant with my other co worker I knew 100% certain that the document that was shown to me last night wasn't mine.
I can draw no other conclusion than that she went out of her way to make it look like I fucked up.
I am so sad right now that I have to work with her. In fact I am sad with the fact that she is a person that is in my life.
I don't need such things happening, I have enough on my mind just going from one day to the next.
It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.

Best of luck for whatever will happen tomorrow, JP!

On my mind ... I'm soooooo exhausted from renovation. We gutted the kitchen yesterday. The room looks definitely different now that all the brown panelling and the old cabinets are gone. We are coming closer to the vision! We found a dead squirrel behind the dishwasher, all curled up, it looked like it was sleeping. And a dead mouse. Underneath the carpet was old linoleum which was covering some plywood. It all came out nicely, but underneath that there are really old vinyl tiles, probably from when the house was built in the first place. 1947-ish. There are tons of staples in them and they are glued to the floor. We want to put nice laminate in there that looks like the planks from a pirate ship, but in order to properly level the floor, the tiles need to get out. This is gonna be a tough piece of work... But it's still so exciting!!! We're gonna go to Ikea this weekend to check out some cabinet options. My body is tired, but it's so much fun too!

    good luck JP!

also, good luck Leeze! renovations suck, but when it is all done it will all be worth it. the best part about it is seeing the progress from the "before" to the "after" :)

Thank you :) You are right, that is why I am taking lots of photos. We haven't even had it for a week yet, but it already looks completely different. It is so cool that we can do so much ourselves.

Yeah. Cav has done a lot of that stuff before and is familiar with the structure of American houses... I just follow his lead. And of course we won't be doing everything ourselves. This is just the beginning, experts will be coming to help us with the difficult stuff.
