    My stepdad, whom I grew up with, always reminded me of him too. He is or was a big fan. It is weird to get used to the fact that Lou has passed. It makes me sad, still.

    i have a 2nd interview scheduled for tuesday, but the job i really want - haven't heard back yet after phone interview. fingers crossed!

    i sooo want to end this year on a happy, high note. i've not done ALL i really wanted to accomplish that, especially for my "big birthday" looming and feeling rather, oh idk - just stuck - but getting moving in the right direction career-wise, that would be a HUGE plus!

    That I can't be mad that my Dad's doctors have finally given him a time frame.. To survive 8 years of Pancreatic cancer is an amazing feat!! But it doesn't make it hurt any less to hear them say he has a year or less to live..

    fuck that guy. He or she is getting paid to treat patients. Unless you're going into the emergency room, (A&E?) cuz you've got a headache, it is very unlikely you are wasting anyone's time by trying to find out what is wrong with you.

    No I'm not going to A&E - I am going through a series of tests to see if my epilepsy seizure threshold has lowered. I don't think he meant to make me think that, but it has. Sorry to hear about the experience of your best friend, I hope she's ok now! :D
