Feeling bad about misunderstanding what someone said to me on another forum (not here).  That's sometimes a real problem with tying words on the internet.  Sometimes things get misunderstood.  I try not to do that, but when I fuck up that way, I feel BAD!

Communication on the internet is hard enough sometimes, but when dummies like me misspell words like I did above ("tying" when I meant "typing"), that doesn't help!

my sister (financial advisor) posted an article online about this new thing that's gaining traction where people are advocating for getting "an extra day's pay on a leap year". Um, yes, if you work 5 days in a week, you work 5 days in a week. this makes zero sense to me. you aren't owed more money. you aren't working extra. we're just adding a day to the calendar to keep summer from eventually being in January.
