Is it ok to go to dinner with friends who don't drink, and get drunk?

depends on why they don't drink....if they are recovering drunks, i would suggest water...otherwise, i would order up a beer

I almost never drink (medical reasons) and only once has someone asked me if I was having an alcoholic beverage before they ordered. (When I said no then they ordered a soda as well.)

My opinion would be yes to the drinking, no to getting drunk... thats just bad form.

They don't like the taste. I think a nice buzz is appropriate.

cool day planned for tomorrow - taking my 12 year old to see Linkin Park in Camden. We also are attending their fan summit which includes lunch at Hard Rock Cafe in Philly, Meet & Greet with band, backstage tour, sound check, etc.

I don't handle very much alcohol all that well, so I partake in other activities...I don't give a shit if others are drinking or not. Well, unless they turn into angry drunks, I don't like angry drunks.

How much did that set you back? (just to compare with PJ's 'meet and greet' for $250)

    $0.

Unless you would include the $60 annual fanclub membership which entitled me for a chance to get in on the summit. Annual membership also gets you presale for tickets, t-shirt, flag, lanyard, etc.
