Hmmm. Sounds like a good alternative. Mind chatting with me Monday for my follow-up article on traffic at the PJ show and how people managed to get around the mess?
Actually, the 12-lane bridge wouldn't matter. The problem is the bottleneck at the venue. One way in and one way out.
The bike plan worked perfectly. We rolled out of the parking lot, past the line up of cars and an unbelievably long line for the C-Tran shuttle, took a couple back roads under the glimmering stars and half moon to our parked car and were home within 15 minutes.
I'll post a link to my full report and show review on my blog on Monday.
We literally sat in our car for 1hr 20mins and only moved 3 car lengths until they emptied all of the other parking lots before letting ours instead, say, doing every other car. what a waste. terribly managed and bad for the environment.
