because I can't believe that Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains both have songs charting in the top 5. Maybe there is hope for music yet! :D

    I know, now if RATM got back together and Chris Cornell pulled his head from his ass and started rocking again...it would be 1995 all over again!

    I have always loved Soundgarden and have listened to them as long as I have Pearl Jam, even though I don't think the two quite compare. Chris was always one of my favorite singers but once I found out Timberland was producing his latest solo project and then I heard it...well...it just put a bad taste in my mouth.

    I'll take Target deals over albums produced by Timberland, or other rappers, anyday! My opinion.

    yeah I totally didn't understand what CC was trying to do with that last album. I saw him live about a year ago and the show was ridiculously good and his voice was just incredible...the studio album...not so much :?

    He may not miss her, but he apparently needs someone with good sense to tell him that!!

    Unfortunately, he seems to be only as wise (musically) as the people he's working with at the time. :? I hate saying something like that but it seems to be true. :shock:

    Yeah, agreed...while I do give any artist a lot of credit for trying new things and allowing themselves and their style to evolve, in Chris's case, unfortunately his latest instance of "evolution" hit a bit of a dead end. But its all good, as long as he realizes this and moves on (and by moves on, I mean sort shit out with Matt and the gang and fuckin' revive Soundgarden!). 8-):mrgreen:

    I could see Matt doing a few shows with them but he'd be stupid to leave PJ for Soundgarden...the PJ gig is pretty sweet after all :D
