Any other Thrice fans left on the board? I really love Beggars. Incredible album. I had high hopes for Alchemy Index but was generally disappointed, especially after Vheissu was so good. Nice to see them rebound with something this strong.
It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

I liked them when they played during lunch at my High School in early 2000. Haven't really listened to them since.
I’ve seen Pearl Jam 25 times, Eddie Vedder 9 times, and Brad once.

On first few listens thinks Beggars sounds very good. The alchemy albums I never quite get - all got great reviews, but whilst I dont dislike them, they just dont grab me. Listen to lots of music at work these days though which probably isnt best for appreciating music with a little more subtelty (sp?)
  • Yes yes yes.

Can't wait to see them again in November in Anaheim. They put on a great show. It's amazing how much this band has grown, no matter who you play Beggars to they question if it's really Thrice. Their live sound has become amazingly tight. As a 'young' rock band you really can't beat them. Their evolution & range rivals anyone.

Great video of dustin solo from this summer doing a pedro the lion cover (few others by me at this show as well on there): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrV6EDxiv1U
