Liam Finn in NYC Tonight
I'm seriously considering going to his show tonight at the Bowery Ballroom. I was really impressed with opening set for Eddie. Anybody else going?

No convincing necessary. He is not the biggest EV/PJ fan, but when we saw Ed last month, he really liked Liam's stuff. The hubby's favorite music is - I wish I could change the font size of this next word - techno and he thought Liam's set was, for lack of a better word, "engaging". Eli just TD'd so maybe he'll stay home after all. LOL

Again - if you can make this or other Liam shows - GO GO GO!
I thought he was really good. If you live in town, you should go!
Pretty damn cool

If there's any justice in the world, this guy and Eliza Jane should be huge. As in Pearl Jam huge. I was so unbelievably impressed.

No, but he did do "I'm Only Sleeping" which was fantastic. He brought some of his roadies (I think they're his roadies) out during the encore to play a few songs together, which I don't think is something they've ever done before.
They've already got the monumental live performance down pat, they're both great singers and musicians...all that needs to happen now is Liam's songwriting to reach its' potential. Right now, he's got a bunch of absolutely fantastic songs and a bunch of good songs, and he's only at the beginning of his career. Once he's consistently writing with the caliber of his best work, he's going to be unstoppable.
Oh wow. He did it again!! If only I weren't such a Giants fan, I would have been there... maybe I should have gone.

Really really good
I dont have the setlist but he basically played almost the whole album except Shadow of your man. he did the beatles cover as someone else mentioned here. He really flowed and he is so spontaneous with his solos/outburts. I was like ish, is he ok? But he was just buggin out and feeling it.
AWESOME SHOW - MUST SEE!
