I have a question about the "Oceans" video

I was watching Touring Band 2000 the other night as I never watched all of the little extras and stuff. I liked the bit where the band came on stage dressed as the Village People. I hadn't watched Oceans in so long thus put the video on. Question: Do you remember the part of the video where someone goes down a waterfall type of thing in between those tight rocks? The person, whomever it was barely fit in between the rocks. How the f did they do that and where did the tunnel lead to? I got clausterphobic watching that because the guy went head first and it was a tight squeeze and if that didn't lead somewhere they're screwed getting out. Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?

LOL--I forgot we have a thing now called Youtube.

It's at the 1:50 mark. How'd they do that?

  • It looks like they're diving down a sink hole in the shore rocks .... but I can't think why anyone would do that since people are killed all the time doing it. I live in Hawaii and we have a number of them -- kids get stuck in those once in a while and can't get out. It's like a hole in the rocks where the ocean slams against the land, and they usually lead to an underwater cave. Water gets washed in from underneath and is blown out the top like a whale's blowhole. I've heard of people doing it though, so I suppose it doesn't always kill you. And by the way, somehow I've NEVER seen this video! They have another black and white video for Oceans and I guess I always thought that was the only one. Thanks for posting it, really!
  • I've just looked it up and the video was actually shot IN Hawaii! That's so awesome -- the concert footage was from their 1992 show at the War Memorial Gymnasium in Maui. I was three years old, so I wasn't there, sadly.
