Bad review of Backspacer and Pearl Jam, as predictably ignorant as it is figured id still pass it along. Sometimes it does make me wonder though, do us die-hards just convince ourselves pearl jam is still relevant by saturating our brains with it?

  • Any review from a url that starts with the word "blog" I tend to ignore.
everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do
  • Oh not a bad review.... who cares!?!? Not everyone has to like Backspacer... lets spam them just like we did with the Pitchfork reviewer
  • This review makes the infamous Pitchfork review seem kinda tame. The latter comes off as more ignorant than anything. This one comes off as just flat-out slanderous and rude. Whoever wrote it sure likes namedropping really bad bands, though.

To take the time to write something so negative really shows a lack of intelligence on the part of the author. I say this because it appears he attacked the fans. I have more respect for someone that just says I don't like it because I'm a Michael Bolton or Miley Cyrus fan. Although the new Miley Cyrus sond Party in the USA is pretty catchy, They played the video on Dancing wit the Stars last night, that's how I know, it's not like I'm uncool or anything! But that being said, I think it's a lack of intelligence because it's so much easier to be negative. It's so much easier to take something apart then put it together, and I've always said it's easier to cross examine someone then put a case together through direct. Some people make a living eing negative, ex. fox news. Rupert Murdoch suggested in his book that if there was money to be made slanting his news the other way, he would have followed that.
  • This isn't a real "review" is it? It's just some random schmo spouting their opinions from their couch.

I don't even know why I just read that.

  • I thought it was kinda funny! I've read worse on this forum from fans! Do you enjoy the album? I know I do. Nothing else matters.

Well I think all Target checkout line stuff was stupid but as for the actual review, I hate to admit it but that's sort of how I feel about the album myself.

Life will go on for you, I'm sure. Just wish everybody could feel what I feel from this album. Because that feeling is spectacular.

Well maybe my opinion will change on the some of the songs I find boring (Unthought Known, Force of Nature) when I see them live. But some songs I don't think I'll ever get into (The Fixer, Gonna See My Friend).
