You know it is kind of weird but I really feel good about this. I mean who freaking cares about album sales but the guys did a good job with the promotional effort and deserve the recognition.

    not to take away your excitement, but backspacer is not #1. Jay Z is. the article just mentions that next week pj might start at no 1.

    :evil: New PJ is a drug and they KNOW we are all junkies.. So it appears to me that they held back the preorders from the fanclub and doubled those sales.. Vicious.. Very disappointed here in Tennessee.. I bought a copy at Target on release day because I refused to download the leak and my preoder didn't get here.. I will definitley be illegally downloading the next album early.. I waited for it this time, cd showed up 2 days after release date and bought a vinyl copy at my indie store today because I am STILL waiting on vinyl which hasn't even shipped yet 5 days past the release date.. So.. Congratulations on screwing over your fans and making a few extra bucks... Way to go!! :roll:

    The band forced you to buy the album multiple times? That's weird, they never even respond to my e-mails, I can't imagine having that kind of close personal contact to the point where they'd physically make you buy extra copies!
