it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...
Just make sure the signs don't convince the band to play it in Boston. That's the one show of the last five I'm missing!
I missed the bookends in '05 hitting each show between Missoula and London, where it was played. Then, in '06, at the United Center in Chicago, Ed talks about the Chicago Bulls banners and talks about how the next song is connected to the Bulls, and I'm thinking finally, finally, finally, then they proceed to play Present Tense.
This song is like a white whale to me. No matter how often or not I see them, I never quite catch it. Reading it was soundchecked in Philly multiple nights last October had me really, really convinced I'd catch it live....but, no. Hopefully, by the time Yellow Ledbetter is played next Friday night, I'll have a true live version stuck in my memory bank.
Not only do I love this song, it is one of very few songs I have yet to hear.

i doubt they will play it in boston... but i have enough signs right now to have maybe 300 - 400 each make an appearance at each show from hartford through msg 2...so i need other people to help me out in printing lots more out...if you could print maybe ten, give 9 to 9 friends, if they do the same... well we could increase our numbers a ton here... i got some friends sitting up front at most of the shows that could distribute them to the first 4 rows or so...
we need to keep this going... plus keep an eye out for a black red yellow sign campaign thread at some point tomorrow!...maybe ill start it tonight... also hitting up facebook and twitter

...i bring you the 2010 official Black Red Yellow Sign Campaign... listed below is a link to my photobucket page where you can go, save the sign, print out several copies to distribute starting at tomorrow night's Hartford show.
The signs are to be held up for the band to see when they come out for their first encore, not before, just like breath!
The idea is to get the band to play it at least by the end of the week at msg. now i have printed out about 3000 signs myself... *i broke the photocopier at work twice... and depleted our toner supply as well...
I am going to be handing out anywhere frm 250 to 300 of these at each show starting tomorrow night in hartford... obviously i am keeping a majority for the msg shows... BUT THIS ISNT NEARLY ENOUGH! I need anyone who is willing to participate in this to print out as many as they can... if you print out 10 copies... keep one for yourself and distribute the 9 to 9 friends... ask them to do the same...
