Just throwing it out there but does anybody think that the supposed release in 6 months that Mike is talking about will be a sort of Lost Dogs 2? I think is would be sweet if they re recorded the b sides from Avocado w/ Brendan. Why not just throw it all out there as a full length follow up to Backspacer if the songs are anywhere near as good as what's on both of those albums. I'm rambling now, but It seems odd that there are all these songs supposedly recorded that no one has heard. I hope they are planning something big with them!

I think any B-sides coming out from those two albulms would be good. And any others that may be sitting around.
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...
  • There are a whole pile of unreleased tracks from the Riot Act sessions kicking around as well ... Not sure if they are any good, but the Binaural outtakes we have heard so far are the tits.
Why haven't they played In The Moonlight live?
  • In the Moonlight & Otherside HAVE to be played soon. they are far too good to never be played live.

    they'll be played in PHILLYYYYYYYYYYYY!!

yo, riot act b sides would be AWESOME
In July 2007 Densmore said that he would not rejoin The Doors unless it was fronted by Eddie Vedder. Densmore says, "I play with Jim. If there's someone of that level, OK. I'm not gonna join them with Ian. That's not to diss Ian, he's a good singer - but he's no Jim Morrison. Eddie Vedder? My God, there's a singer."
  • that's what I'm talking about! There is more than enough material for a "new" full length if not a double disc.

Lost Dogs 2 sounds good to me (or even Lost Cats, for that matter)... I really hope they put together a compilation of everything post Binaural that they have lying around!

    P.S.: And on vinyl, please!

  • The only thing that might screw that up is the box sets that are coming out. If they release all the b-sides for Avocado and Backspacer now they won't have any bonus's for those respective re-releases. I hope I'm wrong because I don't want to have to wait 2+ years to hear them.
    So this life is sacrifice...
