My 2 cents about new albums vs. live tour

Here's the thing with me and the new album - It's really good. In my opinion, much better than ST.

Here's the thing with me and seeing PJ live - I love hearing songs that I have an emotional conection with.

This album is too new for me to have a song that I can relate to a loss/crisis/problem/depression. Although I like the new tunes, for me, I wouldn't want to have songs like Hard to Imagine, In Hiding, RVM, Black, Nothingman replaced with The Fixer or Johnny Guitar. Obviously I don't come up with the setlist, and I will always continue to go see then live, but the "old" shit really works well for me.

That is all.

  • You could just listen to the new album a lot more and develop those emotional connections to the new songs the same way you did the older songs...........

    .....Just my advice.
When this just feels like spinning plates.
  • ...or you should buy a beer, relax and enjoy the show :)
Makes me ache, makes me shake...
...is it so wrong to think that love can keep us safe?

My thoughts exactly! Plus, The End should make up for at least some of the "not related to loss" trouble. :)
