  • So funny you would post this as I was thinking of writing something along those lines. Today I woke up feeling pretty depressed. I guess it's just that this has been one of the most fun/fufilling 2 days of my life and now I guess I am just feeling an adrenaline crash. I looked forward to seeing them play 2 days in a row for so long, now thats its over, I guess I just need something else to look forward to! I was actually thinking on my way to work today. " I could do this every day of my life". I told a couple of my co- workers that today, they just kind of rolled their eyes, they are used to my PJ fueled rantings. But seriously, I would be one of those folks, that just packs it up and travels with the band. I would never tire, ever.

Yup.. drove back to vancouver this morning and flew back to Edmonton. I have to work tomorrow.

It was nice while it lasted. Kinda wish I'd found a way to go to Vancouver.

Awesome shows (especially the 2nd one).

Got home to PA at at 5:40 PM. It was Post Pearl Jam Tour Depression Syndrome the entire 5 hour flight . Texas can't come soon enough. I must be real depressed. Just noticed even my fingers are stuttering.

  • just got into my apartment. i wanna go back.

can't wait for my 2 shows in cali
i have a paper here that entitles me to fast track status
  • At least we will be able to get the boots! I think it really " evens the playing field" shall we say. I mean, I will not be traveling to any of the other shows, but being able to check out the set list and then actually be able to hear the show, I guess it takes away part of the sting.

I feel it too, maybe not as bad yet being I have the Clark County show in three days. But wow, those two Seattle shows were out of control!!! Especially night two!!

A third night would have been awesome. But with a break inbetween please  I was so excited that I feel like half dead now....

Clark County has so much to live up to. Fan Club tickets should be good here too.
  • We had 5th row seats for just one night. Imagine not be able to afford the next night but knowing its going on right in your home town.

Usually I'm pretty high for a couple of days after the show, but this time we didn't even want to get up from our seats. today was crap.

...but boy was it fun at Easy Street and Monday night was long awaited. Grateful but sad, feels like family left town.
  • I hear ya. I wish I was at another show instead of watching tv tonight. Only two more days till Vancouver!! It is kinda nice to have a small break. I am sooo tired. Got home late two night in a row then made the mistake of promising my three year old and my wife that we would go to the fair today. Must sleep...more Pearl jam soon....

Yep. Luckily we have AIC to look forward to tomorrow and San Diego so not feeling too awfully bad. It is amazing though the fans I talked to that are doing all 4 in Philly! I can't even imagine what that would be like. haha. Had such a great time and loved meeting everyone I did but sorry I missed so many also. A full week or month of PJ would be great.

Maybe because I cannot see them outdoing last night, but, I'm ok with there being no show tonight.

Nice to be back home in SF with some fantastic memories of PJ and Seattle ...

Talk to me in a few days when the shows start up again and I'm sure I'll be complaining I'm not there. :D

  • I know what you mean (Although I went only one day). I even casually went to Ticketmaster to see what kind of seats are left for the Vancouver show... ;)

For me, it's not necessarily the show withdrawal. Obviously you miss not having a show, but if you have good people you're hanging with, you miss that just as much and look forward to the next time which will be in Philadelphia in 30 something days.

As a sports buff (and old school Supes fan) that you are, how killer was the altered SuperSonics!!!! I thought it was way killer and a nice little tribute to the team we all lost.

I'm actually not an old-school Sonics fan, I was just fascinated by the team back in the day and was a big X-Man fan the year he played in New York. That altered song was killer. Did you also hear the recorded announcement outside the lobby that said "Welcome to Key Arena, home of the SuperSonics".

  • Too funny. Going through the same thing. Feels like the volume has been turned down on the everyday stuff. The new album has been on repeat all night. I am really digging the new album, but wish I was heading down to portland or up to vancouver this weekend.
  • as an aside. I am going to be in NYC during the Philly shows and thinking about make a trip to Philly for one of those shows (just got to swing tickets first). I missed the 10c ticket sale for those dates.
  • Ya im still pumped up from last night.
But theyll be back soon very soon
    Shows:
    Seattle Key Arena 9-21-2009
    Seattle Key Arena 9-22-2009
  • i feel satisfied for now, i'll be ready for more come the last LA show and SD though! and besides, if they did a 3rd show that would top last night, i don't think i could handle it, i'd be left rocking in a corner mumbling from having my mind blown lol
  • I felt like that after Outside Lands, so I did everything in my power to arrange going most the rest of the shows sans ACL and Vancouver. I always feel like a drug addict coming down, but last night was so sweet.
