I've recently fallen in love with the Modern Girl tag but I need help finding the best live version. I heard it live for the first time last month in Chicago and need moremoremore moremore

    Rio 12/4/05 is a good one. Ed changes the lyrics to "I've always wanted to go...to Rio!" If I remember correctly it's the longest tag of it that I've heard also. :D

    I'm not sure about the best tag, but the actual song by Sleater-Kinney is f*cking solid.. really cool video for it.. and Janet Weiss is the best female drummer alive..

    Only heard it once live but Fenways version was extra cool for me with the picture of the moon as the backdrop on the screen during the song. Pretty cool moment.

    Love this as a tag, love it even more when seeing SK perform it! Carrie Brownstein is a supremely talented rock star...if there was a female version of Pete Townshend(her idol btw but, isn't he everyone's idol) she would be it! I wish PJ would tackle playing the song in full, I think they would kill it!

    Not sure if this is the 'best' but my favorite is probably the one from Wrigley N1 this year. Ed talks about Chicago and almost seems to get emotional over the whole scene. Cool moment.
