Gems and Rhinestones...

Anyone else find themselves spontaneously belting out this line from Unthought Known*** while doing your day to day thing? I've been doing it all day and my family keeps looking at me like I'm crazy..."Mom's losing it" type of looks. It's just one of those songs that works itself into your brain and settles there for awhile. It wasn't really one of my favorite tracks on the first couple of spins but now- well, I love it!! I think maybe one of the reasons I love it so much is that someone has found away to make "gems and rhinestones" sound kinda manly ;)

    my son tells me that i sing "got some" a lot. And i dont realize it. he is 12 and he almost has half the songs down pat. i am an idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :lol: That's how I feel when my 11 year old looks at me like she does. Unfortunately, my musical tastes have yet to impress her, but my 3 year old...I've got big hopes for her. She frequently asks to listen to The White Album, or Wilco. Now were working on PJ, though she does already love Last Kiss.

    Couldn't agree more. Love the song. Can't stand the line. Yet when I think of the song in my head those three words jump out.
