a BIG "THANK YOU" from Easy Street Records

All of us at Easy Street Records would like to take a moment and say "THANK YOU!!!!" to EVERYONE who came by the store(s) the past week and supported us! The midnight sale in West Seattle was a HUGE success, as was the food drive...hopefully everyone had a good time while visiting the store(s). Without the support of people like you there wouldn't be record stores like us around the country....so PLEASE continue to support your local record store! If you don't have a local indie store where you live, please feel free to check us out on-line at http://www.easystreetonline.com ;)

    Thanks for having such a kick ass vinyl collection! Sure put a dent in my wallet and my carry-on! All this vinyl is heavy! :)

    Thank you easy street for the paintings ads on the side of the store at mercer st. Took great pictures there with my friends. We all bought stuff there. I was not planning on getting the backspacer vinyl, but you forced me :!: I just saw it there on the shelf. Like 3 copies, I could not say no.

    1) They don't have any readily available, and won't be making them again any time soon ...

    2) Sox fans like me have pestered this poor guy about them far too often. :D

    I was just about to post about that. I got one in the mail today from the Backspacer cd I ordered from Easy Street.

    Thanks! No idea why they sent it, but as a Red Sox fan I can't be happier.

    I figured I'd order the cd from Easy Street online a few weeks ago because I'd be at the release party and didn't feel like waiting in line there. Luckily I got the Ten Club version last Friday so I could listen to it before I left for Seattle, put it on my ipod and be ready for the shows.

    The Easy Street version came with 2 Easy Street stickers (regular logo and Red Sox logo), an Easy Street pen, a Backspacer sticker and a Backspacer temporary tattoo.

    I also picked up a new copy of Live at Easy Street there before the release party to replace my old one that I had misplaced.

    I had never even been to Seatlle until like 2002. But everytime I go there, I always go to Easy Street and buy some vinyl, get some food and have a beer. Its a ritual...understand I live in Tulsa, OK...and whoever is with me gets to go to Easy Strete in West Seatlle. Its awesome and thank you for doing what you do.

    Too bad i did not know they give away gifts with each purchase. I bought the backspacer vinyl on mercer street and they did not give me anything. I would have asked if they got a sticker. My two friends bought each a copy of the cd and the easy street show plus other vinyls and cds. No extra goodies though.
