What I want to know is why no love for Ben Harper and the R7 on the posters. I dont recall ever seeing a poster that did not include the opener listed on it

Many of the 2008 and 2009 prints don't have the opening act on them.
Could be because they are waiting so long before finalizing who the opening acts actually are ... the posters need to be completed well in advance to get through the screening process and shipped to the gig.

I preordered both posters but there were plenty of them for sale. They had both night's posters available on the second night.
Actually, the last of the first night's posters were gone within minutes on Night 2.

I bought the Shawn Kemp's poster but I can't undestand why so many people love that poster, am I missing something?
I am sure it is different for each person, I like it because there is a sports tie in and Shawn Kemp was pretty cool.
It appears that Pearl Jam and their merchandiser have caught onto something with the sports tie ins. Really hoping that they double the output of the sports related shirts for Philly.
Were all of the prints sold at the show numbered? Is it an Ames? I am reallying digging this one.
Only the Kemp posters was signed and numbered, as it was a "special Seattle edition" poster. Yes, it was done by Ames. When I asked if they'd be available on their site, they played coy ... I think they wnated to bundle the remaining posters they had with books.
The other two show specific posters were not signed "1st edition" posters, and the "artist proofs" are available now at Ames Bros for purchase.
