The show last night was awesome. Fucking awesome. No Code rocked the Lansdowne and I had a great time. Chatted it up with Love Boat Admiral for a while. Very cool guy. Also had a dance to Yellow Ledbetter with a nice young lady. Have to say that was a first for me (never danced to YL EVER!) All in all, awesome time. If you haven't seen these guys and they come around you're area, see them. It was great. Thanks to Tony and the boys for keeping the tunes cranking well past midnight.

Yea, that about sums it up. Awesome night on Lansdowne St. Had a lot of fun rockin out with cropduster and his British buddy, Tony and the band were spot on and the crowd was really into it. Had to skip out half way through the second set, but I would go see these guys again without a doubt. Thanks again guys!

dude!!!! holy shit.....the British guy was cropduster's friend? hilarious! Met so many cool people, names are escaping me and since I'm short, I tend to be at everyone's chest height when I meet them (which, if I were a guy, wouldn't be a bad thing). The British gentleman was...uhm....a bit 'hands on' but respected space once the boundaries were set. ;) I am running on about 3hrs of sleep - closed down the pub, hit the South Street Diner and crashed at my mom's at 4:30 this morning. Awesome time!!!!!!

On behalf of No Code, I extend my heartfelt thanks to many 10C members for ensuring that the band's Boston debut would be special: cropduster82 (and friend Lee), DiRtYyELLoWoCeAn, PJLadie (and accomplices J and H), LoveBoatAdmiral, Whizbang, and others whose usernames escape me. Your positive reviews of the show are just as appreciated as your energetic support.

Honorable mention to Steve Dunne for his frequent words of encouragement. Sorry that your Wishlist request eluded me on this thread, Steve, but I'll make sure we play it on our next visit ... when you're sharing in the experience with us!

Until we all meet again, I'll savor this marathon Lansdowne set list:

Alone being my personal favorite. Thank you!!!!!!

How's that Jets loss working for you???? ;)

And sorry, LoveBoatAdmiral....I'm more of an auburn red-head than a brunette. The difference in a bar with not great lighting is nil...... ;)

Per Alone, it's always a pleasure pleasing an auburn redhead/brunette.

Per the Jets, Loss No. 1 had to come sometime, and an interconference road game would be the way I'd script it. The upside of Sanchez's poor performance is that it puts his much-hyped learning curve on display next Monday.

Great show for sure. (Tony, I am Brian from facebook...great to meet you at the gig man)

I know one of you guys in the crowd at some point high-5'd me, who was it? I was standing off to the side most of the show. I had a long sleeve black shirt covered by a 2000 tour PJ shirt. My wife and friend did not want to go up front so I just sort of got my groove on a little off to the side. One of the guys up front came over to the side, probably for a breather, saw me rocking out and gave me a high 5. Fess up! ;)

That's a tricky double order, X-Man. Sullivan Hall, our regular NYC venue, presents multiple bands per show. I can't speak to whether the audience's attention span is a function of the venue's format or vice versa, but I do know that a 35-song performance including many B-sides and deep album cuts would not fly in that room. It's not even an idea the promoter would entertain.

There is some latitude on the start time, though. Our 12/5 set at Sull Hall could begin as early as 10:15 if the transition between acts runs smoothly. On that night the latest we could play is 11:40, though.
