Do you guys have any new band I should listent to...

The more the time pass, the more I go back in time for music... I mean... 60s and 70s.

The most recent band I hooked up is KOL, which is from 2000... the others one are side-projects or stuff like that....

Any recommendation for a really new artist?

  • My suggestions for you are as follows...

Ryan Bingham - If you like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Steve Earle. Great band, great lyrics, great live.

The Entrance Band - If you like PsychBlues. It has a Rose Hill Drive, Zep feel to it at times.

Cory Chisel - Again if you like folk Dylan style music, awesome up and comer with great lyrics.

Needtobreathe - Not as new of a band, but still good. AltRock with a Kings of Leon sound in some aspects and a bluegrass feel in some aspects as well. Then again I have only listened to one of their CD's "The Outsiders", which I think is a great record.
I know that I was born and I know that I'll die. The in between is mine.

  • Arctic monkeys- buy/downlaod their first album. It is AMAZING. I've been playing it nonstop lately. It's sort of pop/punk/Brit rock. I would say even incubus meets some other pop punk band. I actually hate pop punk but I'm tellig you this band is sooooo much better.

Also, he's not new by any means...but I've been on a kick with him lately so here it goes:

Tom Waits. Somewhat of an acquired taste, but it's good stuff. I'd recommend his first three albums, especially "The Heart Of Saturday Night".
