I find myself moderately in between the two factions, haters and lovers, as after listening quite a few times the album I have both feelings... I like it and I don't. I can't say I absolutely love it but I would lie if I said I hate it. But I won't get into the explanation of all my feelings song by song, I'm not that self-centered and pretentious to do so without knowing that I'd be wasting my and your time and anyway I kind of did that already in another thread somewhere... :-)

It's a pity tho that we're not able to discuss friendly and maturely about it all together into a single thread without having to resort to childish behaviour, insults and all the rest. The beauty of a forum is that we're all here discussing all Pearl Jam things in peace and respect for one another. I'm not seeing this happening right now but I believe we all are better than that.

Do I really have to take sides in all this? It's pretty transparent from my words that I do like the new record altho there are a few things that unfortunately I don't like but this happens pretty much with almost all the records I buy and listen to, with a few exceptions of course.

If you refer to the fact that I haven't yet had a shower this moning well, you're right, I'm home and I am just getting up to have one, and I do smell :-)
