Last night, the journey to fitness begins!
Got 3 sessions with a personal trainer to show me what to do and how to do it properly.

Start Weight: 92 kgs
Target Weight: 84 kgs

Start muscles: None
Target muscles: Beefed up lol

Gotta be put through pain but hopefully the $80 a month fee and end results are worth it.
Oh and no carbs at night, bye bye pasta & potatos :(

Anyone else here in a fitness club?

  • No fitness club here. I've been working out in my basement for so long, I think I would be annoyed by all the people milling around in a fitness club if I were to join one.

When is your 1st training session?

    So after my first session.....

    I feel sick.
    I can't lift my arms.
I can't touch my face as I cannot bend my arm.
    I feel sh*t.

My personal trainer really pushed me, so much so that I vomited when I got home and got light headed at the gym.
I guess my lazy body is shocked.

He/She shouldn't have killed you on the first day. I teach at a gym and people always goes balls out the first 2 weeks. Then they get hurt or too sore. Then they quit and I never see them again.

Stick with it...The soreness will fade and you will start to feel awesome.

That does not sound good. They pushed you into overdoing it IMO. Rome was not built in a day and exercise should not be torture. I run a fitness center, teach 10 dance/cardio + strength training classes weekly and also work individually with people. De-conditioning doesn't happen in one day, and you can't get it back in one day. Take it easy, eat well and get enough sleep.

I am more sore today than ever.
    Can barely move, ouch.
And I got to fly out tomorrow for work.

Yes what you are experiencing is called 'delayed onset muscle soreness'. It is not uncommon to feel more sore 48 hours after the workout.

do your ears ring? you might have symptoms of menierre's disease (which can make you feel queasy.) I thought if you exercise and feel light headed or dizzy, that you are supposed to go to the doctor. Also, you are supposed to clear it with your doctor before you start an exercise program. What if you have an undiagnosed heart murmur?

Staph bacterial infection that spreads very easily within gyms. Friend of mine got it using gym equipment while he had a miniscule cut on his hand.

So if you ever have any cuts bandage them up no matter how small they are. And clean up after yourself when your done with the equipment.

I would post a google image of MRSA on here, but it's probably best not for public viewing.

6 days, the soreness is gone, just around the elbows my muscles are fatigued, feels like lactic acid.
    Good site, thanks.
