Can't stop listening.....

I have never listened to an album so many times in a row in the first few days after release.

It keeps getting better....and better....and better.

    Honestly, thought it was average on first listen via the stream. But having the lyric sheets, makes much more sense. Good piece of work.

    Today is my first day with BACKSPACER and let me tell you - some opinions here scared me lot and even yesterday, when I was still waiting I expected something average. But c'mon, since I put it in CD player before noon today I can't get enough. I'm still listening to it. I LOVE BACKSPACER.

    Even when I am not listening to it, one song or another is streaming in my head. :D I put it on the boys' iPods today, we all are very happy campers.

    i liked it from the start, and yet its still growing on me. good sign.

    Their last two i didnt like much on first hearing. RA grew on me a little, but ST hasn't at all.

    I agree i had it since sat and initally my favs were got some , gonna see my firend and just breathe and today its amongst the waves unthought known and force of nature im sure it will change again but top to bottom this cd is great

    I just got backspacer today too. And I agree, its better than I expected! I worried that all the songs would be like "the fixer" (sorry,not a fan of that song at all) but all the songs exceeded my expectations. My only complaint is that the album is a bit short.

    The thing I find most amazing is that I had extremely high expectations for this album, and somehow, PJ surpassed them.

    I love it so much, cried 5 times... Binaural is still my fav though, Backspacer is well up there.

    Backspacer is definately a grower, not a show'er ;)
    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
