    How odd that it thinks Got Some "is suspected to contain illegal content and has been blocked" yet the others are OK.

    Have to say The Fixer & Got Some sound awesome from this session. The sounds Mike was getting out on The FIxer were amazing. I would love one day that they did a record like this, just playing & being recorded right there & then, the ultimate raw recording.

    No they would have recorded them in the radio station studios (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maida_Vale_Studios) and then they were played during the interview that was also recorded as they did it when they were over for the Shepherd's Bush show.

    They did the same thing on the same radio show when Avocado was released
    So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

    Damn, these REALLY make me hate what Brendan has done to the songs on the album. I think these performances are sounding terrific and would have much preferred this sort of sound (minus the buzz/hiss) and reduction rather than addition of extra crap that isn't actually Pearl Jam. I think that as Backspacer ages, more and more people will come around to the fact that Brendan added way too much to several songs that has nothing to do with Pearl Jam and actually sounds like something from a lounge act.

    Got to agree with you there. That's one hell of a quality recording session they've got here.

    Kind of reminds me of some of Neil Young's stuff, especially from The Complex Sessons video. Get in a studio, and record the sound as it is with barely any after-mixing, tweaking, etc.

    There is so much power in "The End". ed kinda takes this song to a whole other level with the cracks in his voice with this song. It is one of those songs that changes your chemistry.
