Stop with the negative Backspacer comments!

The band may read these posts and why would you want to hurt their feelings? They could be fragile. Show some sensitivity people. Do you think they toiled over this album for a day and a half so shitheads like you could critique their work?

And besides, what do you think this is, and internet message board?

    I admit, it makes me feel bad because i know the guys have to see some of this but shit! Let people be honest.. i mean i would thrive on this if my band was well known enough to be critiqued, good or bad.. they cash a pay check either way.. i don't think they will lose sleep over someone saying they didn't like something about a certain song.. With every ass kiss comment, there must be a shitty one to balance out the cosmos ;)

    Sure but if you had a supermodel posing and 29 people said; "Wow she is attractive", and 1 idiot said; "What an ugly looking Donkey", then you would suspect that one idiot of being kind of you know, an idiot.

    Hey some people are just into different chicks :mrgreen: Thats like saying that since Lady Gayga probably sold more albums than pj , that she is a better artist ... If theres one thing i've learned its that the general public ARE a bunch of idiots and cannot be trusted :mrgreen:

    damn it, this girl is right... the fact that some music is popular just proves what a bunch of morons half the world is .... i hope backspacer only sells like 5 more copies! : )

    That is definitely true. :mrgreen:

    I think the difference isn't what you are attracted to, but rather how you say it.

    Saying this album sucks, the band sold out, they lost their creativity, they copied songs they already wrote, this album sucks cause it's not like (insert Yield, Binaural, Ten, Vitalogy, etc.), the band mailed it in and went for a pop album.

    All of that is just as dumb as saying that a super model is ugly.

    What would be better would simply being respectful and saying something like. I don't like this album, it doesn't do it for me, I prefer this style (insert No Code, V's, Pearl Jam), or any other statement that remains respectful and paints a picture that you don't like the album.

    Almost all of the critics need to justify why they "don't like it" by adding ridiculous statements that are simply not true.

    I'm not attracted to that supermodel. Fine, but she's not ugly, and to say so is just dumb.
