Just got the email:
Dear Haywood Jablowmee,

Your order has been processed and will ship within 1 BUSINESS day.

Domestic orders are shipped via DHL SMARTMAIL/USPS First Class/Priority Mail
and will generally arrive in 5-8 BUSINESS DAYS of this email confirmation.

International orders ship via DHL GLOBALMAIL and can take up to 4-8 weeks for
delivery. There is no tracking information for International orders at this
time. Please take into account holidays and poor weather conditions.
Shipments to Canada, Mexico and Australia can expect delays due to increased
Customs scrutiny.

Ya. This is BS. We preordered the album and were willing to suck up the obscene shipping fee because we thought we'd get the album on time.
Late and more expensive is not how I like my records

I'd like to meet your parents and shake their hands.
When we found the things we loved,
They were crushed and dying in the dirt.
We tried to pick up the pieces,
And get away without getting hurt,
But they caught us at the state line,
And burned our cars in one last fight,
And left us running burned and blind,
    Chasing something in the night.

I was waiting for someone to pick up on that.

Like they used to say on "Dragnet", the names have been changed to protect the (not so) innocent.

Just got this email too. . . about time.

I agree with the sentiment of being a little displeased with paying high shipping costs in a pre-order and not getting them until a week after release. Had I known that I might not have ordered it. I'm cool with supporting the band and 10c but this is a little much.

so much for getting it "as close to the date as possible"...5-8 BUSINESS days means tuesday-friday (next week) almost 2 weeks after it was released...actually is monday a business day? it's Yom Kippur (sp?) if it is indeed a business day then it's coming wednesday-monday...that's possibly more than 2 weeks late if it's monday...

seriously if they managed to get it to stores early, they definitely could have managed to get it to our houses early...plain and simlple

I'm pretty sure that Yom Kippur is in fact a business day. I'll be fasting too, but I'm pretty sure the rest of the world will be working.

Yeah I got the email ... I just need to wait 4 to 8 weeks now
I like the international shipping from 10c. I think my package is carried by a horse from Seattle to New York then it goes on a sailboat and finally on horse again until delivery. At least it's environment friendly. :D
