Does anyone know what is the name/ composer of the song that was playing as the band took the stage before they broke into "release"??? It was kinda of a spacey classical tune and it has been bothering me for years that I can't figure it out... You can really hear it well on the "fight for your cause" boot and can sample a portion of it from the following link...

    Well after searching off and on for years and most of today -- I have finally solved the 15 year old question that stumped me everytime I listened to the on of the top 5 all-time PJ shows. For all to enjoy --- it is

    wait...it just hit me why the beginning of this sounds so familiar........................

    the beginning of U2's Where the Streets Have No Name! And it's no coincidence because Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois produced Joshue Tree. (This is Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois & Roger Eno's Apollo: Atmospheres & Soundtracks.)
