Question about 10C Member number & Seat locations..

First of all my member number is 413XXX and I have been in the 10 Club in 1997. Does this sound like a member number for someone who has been in the 10 Club since 1997?

I used to get really good seats (usually within 20 rows, always on the floor) to shows. Now for Seattle night 1 I am in section 128 row 16. I've been on the floor row 20 at the Key Arena before for PJ shows. I'm just kinda confused as to why I used to get really good seats now I'm kinda toward the back.

I'm wondering if maybe somehow my member number re started and that's why I'm getting these crappy seats...

    Your membership must have lapsed and when you renewed you started over again.

    That would be horrible. I didn't spent 10+ years working up my seniority to have seat next to members that have only been in the club for a year or two. There has to be a way to fix this. Has this happened to anyone else before? Did the Ten Club fix it? Or am I stuck?

    I think it all depends on how long it took you to renew. You get a 30 day grace period.

    You're stuck. There's no way to fix it. It happens quite a bit, and they haven't fixed it before, they won't now. With all due respect, this is pretty widely acknowledged. Don't let your membership lapse.

    i think it is a 3 month grace period, so it depens when it expired, and when you renewed.
    gives me an idea where my seats would have been had i been able to attend.

    Nice! same thing happened to me..i went from 147000 to 400-something..had to email them and beg and plead for the old #. They gave me a strict warning saying they'll only do it once. But i think now they send emails when your membership is about to run out, so you can send them the $20 as soon as possible :)

    Agreed. Plus, with 90 days grace, you THINK you could take 5 minutes and renew online . . . as soon as you get your reminder e-mail. iI you are a big enough fan, you would. I know I do. In fact, I send myself a reminder every April that it's time to renew!

    I don't have any sympathy really, as 10C seem to be giving MOST people the benefit of the doubt with the grace period etc.

    Seating was a bit inconsistent the last two nights, was on the floor row 20 night one and last night I was in the last section in the back before the curve. A bunch of people I sat with on night one were in the same boat so to speak. I think ten club had the seating chart for the stage set up on the other side. But that doesn't really explain how some people had almost identical seats both nights.

    Yeah, I had floor AA row 12 both Seattle nights. Only moved to the right in the row a little bit the second night. And I was next to the same two guys both nights.

    EDIT: oh and I am 124xxx

    Possibilities
    -You renewed and got a new high number
    -You actually had great seats, and the box office swapped them in a scam
    -You did not bathe and the box office did not see fit to put you so close to such clean musicians
    -You used binoculars backwards and you were actually 8th row but it seemed much further

    I'm 125xxx and at MSG I got about row 17, and at VA Beach I got row 4, so that should give you a little range... but compare to other 150's.
