Jesus Christ...all these threads crying about not getting a tshirt or having to wait 15 minutes for them to find it. If that was in the goods store and wasn't a limited edition, half of you wouldn't even want it. I see some of you calling Target employees idiots for not knowing about the shirt but you are the one crying about it on a message board. I'd say a quick poll of the 99.9% of society who isn't a member of this board would call YOU the idiot. Have you ever seen how many items a Target store stocks or how many items are in the clothing department? You expect them to keep tabs on a small box of 15 tshirts?
(I'm well aware of how useless this post is so no need to bash me. This just needed to be said)

I've managed a big box store before and believe me, if there was an exclusive product that we were going to carry then it would be out and on display when doors opened. It's about doing your job and knowing how to run a store. My experience with Target this morning was that not only did they not have the shirt but had no idea they were even carrying it. All things considered, you're right, it's just a shirt but horrible management is hard to excuse when you've worked in that environment yourself.“May you live to be 100 and may the last voice you hear be mine.” - Frank Sinatra0 -
Russell: It's a T-shirt. (turns to Ed) Do you give a shit about a T-shirt?
Ed: I'm just hungry, man. Let's just go out and find some barbecue or something.0 -

Then wouldn't the blame for that fall on the company and not the employees/managers at the stores? How can a manager be blamed if they don't even have the product in stock?0 -
You're right. Seems nowadays that no matter what it is, if it says limited or only at select stores, people will kill to get it. Remember when it used to be about the music? Pearl Jam should just quit writing music and release 1,000 "limited" shirts a month for 10 more years. The would probably make more money than writing songs. He who forgets will be destined to remember.

Local Target here in Tulsa had a nice display. Tall fucker, CDs at top along with the Fixer vinyl, then Rock Band CDs, then two empty Backspacer vinyl slots (don't know if they were selling like hotcakes and nobody could keep up with the re-stocking, ha...or if they never got 'em or what) then t-shirts at the bottom. Didn't like the tees. Found Ten redeux cd for $10.WOOT!0

 I drove an hour to get me a t-shirt, I wouldn't kill anyone over it though, it was a mission indeed, but it made me happy to have itIm wearing it next weekend at the Portland pre-party

obviously not the kind we've seen around here lately
I do think it's kinda disappointing though to go into Target to buy the CD and not find it (i got mine from 10C) ,specially in a town that only has like 1 Target... maybe the Sunday release threw them off and couldn't handle it? :?"Without the album covers, where do you clean your pot?" - EV0 -

I'm still pissed they botched the Give Way promo. I did get some other new CD for free though, but it was because they were substituting it and not because I was yelling at the manager and they forgot to scan it like that other thread.0 -
