Backspacer #1 on Aussie iTunes, Monday morning!

Looks like we have a number one Album this morning in Australia (on iTunes at least!).

I wonder how that will translate on the main sales charts!

They deserve a number one album here!

Backspacer is amazing!

    How is Backspacer promoted in Australia?
    Is there a huge buzz around it?

    There seems to be!

    When the tour was announced the publicity was bigger than most tours!

    Most of the record stores I went past on the weekend pretty much had the album playing, and was so tempting to go in a buy my 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th copies of the cds, but the bank balance couldn't take it!

    We love Pearl Jam downunder. Bit of a bummer that they are playing stadiums, would have preferred the intimate gigs! No complaints though! They are coming!!!!!!

    Yeah I stand corrected, not sure whats going on with my itunes, on my main page in the top albums menu I get Muse, when I go to the full menu I get Backspacer. Yay!

    Dont want to highjack the thread- Does any one in Aus know if we are going to get the LP version on itunes?

    When you click on the full link Backspacer is #1 and that is the most up to date.

    when do the ARIA charts get released? When will know how they did in album sales?

    I love the fact that they bumped Jay-Z out of that #1 spot in the US here as well!!!

    the small top 10 keeps changing between Muse and Pearl Jam, yet the full page chart still has Backspacer at 1! whats going on there!

    It is only 7.22am here, there can't be too many ppl going nuts buying stuff at this time can there!
