Not finding Album/T-shirt @ Target? My Experience/Solution

I walked into the Naperville,IL store, which is a store on that PJ.com master list, and had a horrible experience with a somewhat positive ending.
I walked straight to the music section and saw two endcaps with a topper advertising the release date--both endcaps were for new music. The only Pearl Jam items I saw were two beat up The Fixer Vinyl Singles. After waiting twenty minutes for the electronics associate who was selling a TV, I decided to ask around. I asked two associates who didn't know what the hell I was talking about so I went back to the electronics guy.
He eventually assisted me and told me he had the shirts behind the counter along with the Rockband games. He gave me one shirt and told me the CDs were on an endcap by the registers.
With my shirt over my shoulder, I grabbed a copy of Backspacer off the front endcap and went to check out. Everyone at this Target was so confused. The cashier thought the shirt was free so the manager couponed it off. I was willing to pay for it but they said not to worry for it since I was at target for an hour to buy a cd.
My suggestion is that you head to one of these Target locations, http://www.pearljam.com/files/pjstores.htm talk to a manager about the promotion and stock quantities of the CD/T-Shirt because the manager at my store appeared to be the most aware of the promotion besides the Electronics guy. Whereas, the other two associates told me that new media only comes out on Tuesdays and that if its not in the New Music or Pearl Jam section then they don't have it yet.

I’m hearing some bad things.
If I were PJ I’d want to hear about this.
My target(va beach) had no shirts. But I had expected that from the shirt list. Not every store would have them.
I was expecting some kind of banner or poster advertising ‘Pearl Jam at Target’. All I saw in the entire store was this sign about the size of a piece of paper with a pic of the cd cover out on September 20 over the new releases shelf. I mean that’s it, I was shocked! With the Prince release there was crap all over the place.
THEN the Backspacer was nowhere to be found. no backspacer product was out. I got there late in the day but still it couldn’t have sold out that fast.
I thought gezz they didn’t order enough.
I wasn’t leaving until I spoke to a staff. (give me my PJ god damnit! Lol!)
The guy said he had to get it from the back. And he asked if that’s all I wanted. (I guess for Rock Band or whatever)
I told him there was none on the shelf. He relied with something. I forgot the word he used but I’ve never heard it before. Merchandise jarkin.
I got the album but damn that was weird.
And I saw plenty of the commercial on TV last night, then I go to actually buy the thing and there was notta.
PJ got a bad deal.
