Not that I really care if 10/31 is the last show ever at the Spectrum, but I came across this and figured I would share.

Possible 2 nights of Phish at the end of November. Saw this on a Phish board, looks like it could be legit.

yeah, this rumor has been around since early summer and I wouldn't be surprised if it came true. Just another way for the Spectrum to sell more tickets

I guess we will have to wait and see.

While Halloween being the last show would be great, I would love a chance to see Phish one more time there too.

i gotta admit, i was hoping that PJ would be the spectrum closer so i could say i was at the last event ever.

but if it doesn't happen, not a big deal. i can still say i saw PJ in Philly.

What I've read is that this rumour has been slightly modified (likely arbitrarily) to say that they will be playing at the Wachovia Center instead of the Spectrum.

As much as I love Phish, having seen them 5 or 6 times, I hope this does not come true. Being a "local" I was looking forward to seeing the last show at the Spectrum after having seen 100+ concerts and sporting events there. I got 10c seats for 10/30 when they said it was the last show, then 10/31 comes out. Got those too, but enough is enough. I am not unrealistic, I know money is what they (Comcast) truly wants, but announcing multiple "last concert at the Spectrum" is getting out of hand. I'm starting to agree with Bathgate, this could go on until 2010
    Just my two cents.
  • no no no, its at the wachovia center. the spectrum is an entirely different place. just a typo
In July 2007 Densmore said that he would not rejoin The Doors unless it was fronted by Eddie Vedder. Densmore says, "I play with Jim. If there's someone of that level, OK. I'm not gonna join them with Ian. That's not to diss Ian, he's a good singer - but he's no Jim Morrison. Eddie Vedder? My God, there's a singer."

I heard this as well from an exec at live nation during the red rocks shows. Said it was 100% going to happen. But today I saw the sign on the spectum saying that PJ was the last show on 10/31 and that kinda stamps the date. Maybe!
... are we going to the same place?

wow 3 nights at msg. thats gonna be awesome. i would love to see them at msg. it be my first time seeing them.
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
    Sammi: Wanna just break up?

  • I'm hoping this isn't true. There is something special about Pearl Jam playing 4 nights there to close it out. And to be honest I am going 10/31 and I imagine Pearl Jam has some surprises planned that night.
