How do you guys store your posters?

I have 5 posters professionally framed and I just can't afford it anymore and I'm running out of room:) How do you guys store your posters? I have about 10 that I would like to find something flat but durable to store them in. What all does everyone use? I see some of these poster racks but it looks like they are large and cost around $140. Thanks for any tips.

    Buy a tri-fold foam poster board to keep them in and put craft paper between each poster. That's what I do and it works great.

    We store ours flat in giant plastic sleeves made for posters. Ordered them online somewhere (though I can't remember where).

    In poster tubes, rolled up in acid free paper. I never look at them, I don't enjoy them... I have forgotten what I own!

    that's really pathetic.

    I leave them on the coffee table for everyone to see and use as coasters. :o :shock: :o

    Love , Love , Love my poster portfolio .
    It helps with mass quantities and if you arent able ( or rich enough ) to frame every one of your prints, or you can take care of them until you can properly frame them.

    My port measures approx 24 x 36 and has an elastic band inside the cover and a huge pocket as well.

    Here are page by page documentation of my portfolio , perhaps it can give you an idea of how your posters will look / fit into one of these spectacular portfolio cases.

    Eh, doesn't have to be for charity.. can't imagine how much money you must have spent in order to have a big collection.

    not as much as you think. 99% of them were bought at shows for face. Since 1993. Not a lot of shows at all... I just never take them out and appreciate them, being in tubes and all.

    People have posted links to display books.. that's the way to go if you can't afford to frame everything properly.

    I'm asking Santa for one this year, for sure.

    leave ( & store * ) your prints in tubes for an extended ammount of time ,
    and they can likely lose any value they may have had ,
    Storing your prints in poster tubes can cause " rolls " or "bumps" in the stored, rolled up silkscreen art .
    Poster tubes are FOR SHIPPING ONLY- NOT FOR STORING !

    The acid free paper is good , and posters ( especially silkscreened prints )
    should be stored FLAT, with the acid free paper serving as in betweens
    , in a smoke free environment.

    i like to fold them up real small and put them all in an A4 size envelope.

You probably also will want to order extra filler sheets.

    tanks! i was just about to ask where to get one of these, never seen this size in stores. Ive been searching for a while to find a nice portfolio! As of now, i've just been storing them like comic books - in giant poly sleeves with acid free back boards - works well keeping them safe and preserved, but not as easy to view them .
